Domestic Shipping Policy
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed immediately.
Please verify all items in your cart are correct, your billing and shipping addresses are valid, and your recipient’s phone number is accurate, as changes cannot be made once an order is placed. In rare instances, we may be able to edit an order if contacted immediately upon order placement.
You will receive an email with tracking information within 24 hours of your order shipping.
All special delivery instructions added to your order will be shared with FedEx, who may or may not be able to follow through on your request.
Home deliveries are driver release, meaning they will be left without a signature. FedEx will not leave packages outside of a closed business. Please track your shipment and alert any gift recipients that a perishable gift is on its way.
Standard orders ship on Mondays and Tuesdays:
- Orders placed before 9 am CST Monday will ship same day
- Orders placed between 9am CST Monday and 9am CST Tuesday will ship Tuesday
- Orders placed between 9am CST Tuesday and 9am CST Monday will ship Monday
Express orders ship Monday through Wednesday
- Orders placed before 9 am CST Monday will ship same day
- Orders placed between 9am CST Monday and 9am CST Tuesday will ship Tuesday
- Orders placed between 9am CST Tuesday and 9am CST Wednesday will ship Wednesday
- Orders placed between 9am CST Wednesday and 9 am CST Monday will ship Monday
Rush orders ship Monday through Thursday
- Orders placed before 9 am CST Monday will ship same day
- Orders placed between 9am CST Monday and 9am CST Tuesday will ship Tuesday
- Orders placed between 9am CST Tuesday and 9am CST Wednesday will ship Wednesday
- Orders placed between 9am CST Wednesday and 9 am CST Thursday will ship Thursday

During holidays and times of accelerated order volumes with FedEx, we anticipate the possibility of shipping delays of 1-2 business days for some orders. Our fulfillment team is committed to processing your order as quickly as possible. Rest assured your order will be packed with adequate dry ice to ensure items arrive fully intact and frozen, regardless of time spent in transit.

* Alaska, Hawaii, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard cannot receive free standard shipping or express shipping. These orders require rush shipping, and transit may take up to two additional days to deliver.
*Standard shipping orders for the states of Washington and Oregon are limited to Monday shipment, due to fulfillment limitations in that region. Please contact our Consumer Relations team at 1-877-662-6328 with any questions.

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses
P.O. Box, APO, or shipments to UPS Store addresses are not accepted.
Shipment confirmation and order tracking
You will receive an email with tracking information within 24 hours of your order shipping. If you see an error with your shipping address in that email, contact FedEx to make adjustments.
Damages
Organic Prairie is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier or our support team directly to file a claim. Please save all packaging material and damaged goods before filing a claim.
Organic Prairie is not responsible for delays due to a closed business, incorrect or incomplete addresses, or if delivery is changed via FedEx Delivery Manager.
International Shipping Policy
Organic Prairie only ships within the United States.
Returns Policy
Organic Prairie does not offer exchanges or product returns due to the perishable nature of our products. Please contact our consumer relations team immediately if you experience any issues with your order to receive prompt reimbursement:

What to Expect
We ship our frozen meat in corrugated boxes packed with dry ice and thermal liners to preserve the integrity and frozen state of the product. And because we love the environment, we partner with Crystal Creek to use recycled denim for the thermal liners in all our shipments. Read about the recycled denim liners we use in shipments here.
Our fulfillment partner continually monitors weather across the country and adjusts the dry ice in your shipment as needed to best ensure your order arrives as expected.
It is very common for the dry ice to have dissipated upon arrival. As long as the product is very cold to the touch, the quality has not been diminished. Simply place the product in your freezer or refrigerator (use product within 7 days when refrigerated)
